Fight Cards

The tale of the tape, the odds and the wheel: that’s how every KOTR bout is decided. The season hasn’t started yet, so here’s an exhibition to show you how it works.

Official Season Cards

No official fight cards yet

No live card will be scheduled until the required fight inputs are validated and the season launch is confirmed. Official bouts and results will appear here once fights begin.

EXHIBITION · DEMO

Exhibition bout: ANSEM vs BABYCLAW

Not an official KOTR fight. This exhibition uses synthetic demo inputs, not live data. It isn’t part of the season, and it doesn’t count towards any standings, WIN totals, KO records or league points.

Exhibition bout · 30 seconds · sound effects, no commentary yet

Two Alpha fighters, one demo bout. Every number below is a demo figure.

TALE OF THE TAPE
Market cap, followers and community, set up as a synthetic test. Made-up demo inputs, not either fighter’s real figures. They’re listed under “How these numbers were made” below.
THE ODDS

How these numbers were made synthetic demo figures

The market cap, follower and community figures below are synthetic demo inputs. For this example they’re treated as validated. They are not real metrics for either fighter.

1 Start with 100 points

Every fight starts with 100 weighted points. 5 are always reserved for a Draw. The other 95 are split between the three inputs using the KOTR weighting of 45 : 45 : 10.

  • Market cap 42.75
  • Followers 42.75
  • Community 9.5
  • Draw 5

Until step 5, every decimal figure is a weighted point before rounding, not a wheel slice.

2 Share each input’s points

Each input’s points are shared in proportion. The fighter with the bigger synthetic figure gets the bigger share of that input.

Market cap · 42.75 points
FighterSynthetic input (share)Points
ANSEM$50,000,000 (5/9)23.75
BABYCLAW$40,000,000 (4/9)19.00

Community · 9.5 points

ANSEM40 mentions (40%)3.80
BABYCLAW60 mentions (60%)5.70

3 Add them up

Each fighter’s weighted points before rounding:

  • ANSEM 23.75 + 17.10 + 3.80 = 44.65
  • BABYCLAW 19.00 + 25.65 + 5.70 = 50.35
  • Draw 5

44.65 + 50.35 + 5 = 100 points

4 Split into Win and KO

Each fighter’s points are split 70% normal Win and 30% KO. These are still weighted points before rounding.

  • ANSEM Win 31.255 · KO 13.395
  • BABYCLAW Win 35.245 · KO 15.105

5 Round to whole wheel slices

A wheel can’t hold part of a slice. Only the final whole numbers become the 100 physical wheel slices. First, each weighted point total is rounded down: 31 + 13 + 35 + 15 = 94. The fighters need 95 slices, so one is still spare.

The spare slice goes to whichever total lost the most when it was rounded down. ANSEM KO lost 0.395, more than the others (0.255, 0.245, 0.105), so it goes from 13 to 14.

The same fixed rule is used every time. Every fighter keeps at least one Win and one KO slice, and an exact tie goes to the fighters in alphabetical order.

ANSEM Win 31 ANSEM KO 14 BABYCLAW Win 35 BABYCLAW KO 15 Draw 5 = 100 wheel slices

6 Read the odds off the wheel

The odds shown are the slice counts: ANSEM 31 + 14 = 45%, BABYCLAW 35 + 15 = 50%, Draw 5%. That’s why ANSEM’s 44.65 weighted points appear as 45%.

7 Shuffled for display only

In the exhibition video the 100 slices are shuffled into a fixed, mixed-up order, so the colours are scattered around the wheel. Every slice keeps its outcome, and the counts stay exactly 31 / 14 / 35 / 15 / 5.

THE WHEEL — 100 SLICES
  • ANSEM Win 31
  • ANSEM KO 14
  • BABYCLAW Win 35
  • BABYCLAW KO 15
  • Draw 5
Reveal the exhibition result (spoiler)

The demo draw picked a BABYCLAW Win: a normal win, not a KO. It was a seeded demo draw, not an official result, so no points were awarded.

About this exhibition’s video

This exhibition’s result came from a demo draw. The number was fixed before the odds were calculated, and no one spun a live wheel. The fight footage was AI-generated afterwards to match that result. The wheel in the video is an animation that lands on the slice already drawn. The video presents the result; it doesn’t decide it.

How a Fight Card Works

Every official bout is decided in four steps.

  1. Tale of the tape

Both fighters’ market cap, followers and community numbers go head to head.

  2. The odds

The KOTR engine turns those numbers into each fighter’s chances. A Draw is always 5%.

  3. The wheel

The odds become a wheel of exactly 100 slices: a Win and a KO for each fighter, plus 5 Draw slices.

  4. The spin

The wheel decides the result. Nobody picks the winner.

Any fight video or graphics come afterwards and only present the result. They never decide it.

In official fights, results earn league points: KO win +3, normal win +2, draw +1, normal loss 0, KO loss −1.
