About KOTR

KOTR — King of the Ring

A memecoin fight league: four leagues, 24 places in each, and one crown at the top. Alpha’s 24 fighters are confirmed; the other three rosters are still in production.

The Short Version

KOTR — King of the Ring — treats the world’s best-known memecoins like professional fighters. Each one fights in one of four leagues, meets a rival head-to-head every week, banks points and climbs or crashes down the table across a full season.

It’s memecoin culture told through competitive sport: title races, upsets, promotion pushes and relegation scraps. The rivalries and trash talk are entertainment. Official outcomes come from the wheel, and the standings follow the points rules.

Four Leagues, One Crown

One promotion-and-relegation pyramid, top to bottom. Finish high, move up. Finish low, drop down — or, from Degen, drop out.

  1. Tier 1

    Alpha

The top flight. Finish first here at the end of the season and you’re crowned KOTR.

Everyone in a league fights everyone else in that league once. There are no playoffs: the final table decides the champion, the promotions and the relegations.

A normal win and a KO win both count as a WIN. A draw doesn’t.

How a Fight Is Decided

Validated inputs set the odds. The wheel settles the fight.

  1. The inputs

Each fighter’s market cap, its following on X and its community: mentions in #kotrmeme, verified for that bout. An official fight waits until all of its required inputs, including community verification, have passed validation.

  2. The odds

The inputs set each fighter’s share of the chances. Bigger numbers mean a bigger share, but every fighter with validated inputs keeps at least one shot at a win and a knockout, and a draw is always possible.

  3. The wheel

The odds become a 100-slice Wheel of Names, with separate Win and KO slices for each fighter plus Draw slices. One spin decides the result.

Big projects have an edge — not immunity. Community matters — not control.

Who Gets In

To be considered, a project needs

  • A market cap you can look up publicly
  • An identifiable official X account with a current follower count
  • An active crypto project or memecoin community
  • Enough public information to tell it apart from similarly named projects
  • Enough activity to support KOTR content and rivalries

Not eligible

  • Stablecoins
  • Wrapped assets
  • Staking derivatives
  • Obvious scams or abandoned projects
  • A second listing of a project that’s already in
  • Projects clearly unsuitable for KOTR entertainment content

Meeting the criteria makes a project eligible to be considered, not an automatic roster place.

Where Things Stand

  • Alpha roster — set

All 24 Alpha fighters are locked in. View Alpha Standings →

  • Chumpionship, Trenches & Degen

Rosters and tables still in production.

  • Official season — not started

The official season has not begun, and there are no official results yet. Fights begin only once their inputs are validated and the season launch is confirmed.

Not Financial Advice

KOTR is entertainment built on public memecoin data. Nothing here is financial advice, an offer, or a guarantee of any outcome — fight odds and standings are a game mechanic, not investment predictions. Always do your own research.
